How far in advance should we book your services?
Based on my experience, it would be advisable to consider booking me at least six months before your wedding day to ensure that the required date is available. It's common for couples to book their wedding videographer approximately 9 to 12 months before their wedding date.
What is your booking process, and how do we secure our date?
We kindly request a deposit of 20% of the total package cost to confirm and reserve your wedding date. This deposit is non-refundable but will be deducted from the final cost of your wedding package. The remaining balance must be settled no later than 30 days before the wedding date.
Are there any additional fees we should be aware of?
Rest assured that there are no additional fees included in the package, and travel is already covered unless it is outside the UK, in which case travel cost terms will apply.
How long does it take to receive the final video?
Depending on the time of year, the delivery timeline is 6 to 8 weeks in summer and autumn, and 3 to 6 weeks from winter to spring.
Is it possible for us to give input or make requests for specific shots or moments to be incorporated into the final edit, including authentic sound?
Yes, you have complete control, and you are more than welcome to provide the list of shots to be captured and request a re-edit of the video if you are not satisfied with the final product.
Will you visit the venue beforehand to plan shots and angles?
I have experience working in different venues, lighting conditions, and situations, so I don't require extra time to determine angles, positions etc.
Do you have a backup plan in case of bad weather or other challenges on the wedding day?
I always have a plan, even when it rains during weddings. Creativity knows no bounds, even when the weather is bad. If you're up for a conga dance with umbrellas in the rain, that's great! But if you prefer to capture indoor shots with creative lighting, that's also an option. Or, you can just have warm conversations with your family and friends. No matter what, I'll be there for you.
